REVIEW : 3 CONCEPT EYES LIP LACQUER (#BON BON AND #BACKSTAGE)

Today I’m back with another lip makeup review. This time is for one of my favorite Korean brand, 3 Concept Eyes. You know this brand, don’t you?

When I first time knew this product, I was wondering about the quality and performance of its since I read varied reviews about this lip lacquer. Didn’t think too long, I decided to buy two of their 12 colors.

So, what’s Lip Lacquer?

It’s lipstick-like touch with press powdered-like soft cashmere lips, with a neat finish and non-sticky application.

Hmmm... then?

They claim that the Lip Lacquer :

·  More vivid than lipstick

·  Gives cashmere texture that leaves a soft finish

·  Light and natural application

·  You can mix and match with their various colors

Well, I really have high expectation for this product now.

3CE offers 12 colors for this product. They are so tempting, right? Look at how pretty that colors are!#drooling

Finally, I bought Backstage since I’m falling in love with its elegant red color. Besides, I still wanted to have nude color lippies, so I grabbed Bon Bon too because I was kinda disappointed with my Clio Lipnicure #Trouble Peach.

So, let’s check whether it really fills our expectations or not.

PACKAGING

Do you agree if I say that the packaging is so elegant?

The box is designed very simple in black paper material and the color of the product inside is on the top of the box. They put 3CE triangle logo on the center, so cutie. I love it.

The description of the product is written in Hangul on the sides box.

Once I opened the box, found that this lip lacquer comes in a transparent bottle with black cap. Still their cute 3CE logo is printed on the center.

If I should compare it with Clio Lipnicure’s package, this one is more slim and classy while Clio’s is in chubby design. In my description, it looks more elegant and I like it for sure!

APPLICATOR

Move to the applicator now. Nothing’s special, just like many others lip tint products. They made it in a long wand which is handy to used. Take a look at the brush. Its tip is slim and so soft like fuwa-fuwa cotton. The angle of this brush helps us to apply the content easier.

Honestly, I really like the applicator. The brush feels so smooth when used onto my lips.

SCENT

I don’t smell any disturbing scent of it. So don’t worry if you have a sensitive nose. It smells like normal lip product.

Actually, I hope they give it fruit or bubble gum scent, LOL.

TEXTURE

I was so glad when tried to swipe the product firstly. As they promised about the cashmere texture, that’s true. I don’t know how to describe it but I think this product has unique texture like no other my lip products before. You’ll see how creamy it was and then turns to be powdery awhile after applied. Seriously, I feel like using powder on my lips! A little bit weird for me, but at least the content is so soft and not clumpy.

STAYING POWER

I couldn’t find that this product has a great staying power at all. Frankly, it will stay okay on your lips as long as you don’t eat or drink. But after you eat or drink, just say adios! It transfers so easily, maybe because of the texture which is powdery, mehh.

It will leave sheer color on your lips. Don’t worry, you can touch up anytime you like since 3CE lip lacquer has light formula. It won’t be lumpy clumpy bumpy

COLOR

Time to swatch it on the lips. Lemme try the nude color first.

Bon Bon is apricot colored that makes you look lovely. This one is warm color. I got no best lighting in the picture, but actually the color look more pale peachy in real. Most of my daily lippies are based on pink colored, so I really like this one as my another choice when getting bored.

The true red color, I love it!

The second color is Backstage. It is truly cherry red color. I really love love love it!

The real red color makes your face look bright instantly once you use it. It’s gonna be the best choice everytime you want to look gorgeous.

When use it as gradation lip

Both of the colors have vivid finish. One swipe is enough for you to get those beautiful colors. They are matte but not too dry. I still feel a hint of moist lips while using it. Looking back to their commercial posters, I found that the colors are exactly same. No one is being cheated here. Everyone can get lip colors like Sora Park. Yay!

I think I’m satisfied enough with 3CE Lip Lacquer, especially with their Backstage color. I do appreciate with their light formula which keeps my lips in moist and leaves no dry patch even using their Bon Bon nude color.

What I Like :

·  Soft and light texture

·  Vivid colors

·  Doesn’t make my lips dry

·  Elegant packaging

·  So many beautiful colors collection

What I Dislike : 
·  Staying power is so so 
·  The products transfer so easily when eat or drink 
·  The powdery texture feels a bit weird

I’m going to give it 4 stars of 5. Though it doesn’t stay long last, but I still get many good things from it. Maybe I will try other colors then. All of them are very pretty. You should try too!

TUTORIAL : AOA SEOLHYUN FOR CECI MAGAZINE INSPIRED MAKEUP

Sorry for neglecting this blog too long. I was so damn busy with my new life, tehee. Well, actually I just spend whole day with eating and sleeping and watching korean dramas mehh.

 

Anyway just for killing my boring days, I’ve browsed lotta Idol pictures and found an interesting photo of AOA Seolhyun for Ceci Magazine. She’s pretty huh?

I love since the makeup looks so sweet and fun. Seolhyun is so beautiful with this Candy Girl look. So, I decided to recreate her beauty makeup and share it with you all.

 First of all, skin care is a must ladies. A healthy skin will help you to get a perfect makeup. With moist skin, you can blend and put your makeup easier and make it long last. Already done with your skin care? Now moving on.

Use your fave BB cream or foundation to get radiant skin. To be honest, I prefer BB or CC cream than foundie since it has lighter formula and consist of skin care. Perfect for daily usage laa. But I found that some BB cream of mine has thick consistency as butter, like most of Etude Precious BB series#sigh...

To solve that I use face oil. My favorite is Innisfree Green Tea Seed Oil. I love it like crazy. I mix one or two drops of face oil with my EH BB cream so the texture of Bbcream itself will turn to be more watery and easier to be blended. It prevents cakey result too.

Don’t forget to use your bestie concealer to cover up any imperfections and get ready for flawless skin. Yoohoo!

It’s optional to set with loose powder or not. If you have dry skin, better skip this step. If you want to use powder, focus on the T zone area only because we still want to get the glowing skin for this look.

Next for the eye makeup which is look so sweet and girly.

Start from eyebrow. Since Seolhyun’s brows look straight and natural, I just apply eyebrow mascara in brown color following my natural brow shape.

Apply pink eyeshadow all over your eyelid. Then get your purple eyeshadow and swipe on the outer corner of your lid until the color shows off. Blend the pink and purple eyeshadow well. Use white eyeshadow on the inner corner and smudge it through the lower lash line.

I used black color for eyeliner. Gel or liquid type, choose your favorite. Finish the eye makeup by using fake lashes and don’t forget to apply mascara on your both upper and lower lashes. Btw, I didn’t use bottom fake lashes, LOL. Honestly, it should be better if you use it for this look laa.

Next for the lips. I’m going to use my Peripera lip crayon. Before that, apply lip concealer or BB cream over your lips to tone down your lip color. Choose pink fuchsia lipstick and make it glossy with lipgloss. Perfect.

Unlike mostly Kpop Idol, Seolhyun has pretty tan skin which is look healthy and sexy. So I put some efforts to shading and highlighting, phew...

Almost forgot, apply pink blush on your cheeks too girls. And you’re done!

Please don’t compare my silly face with Seolhyun’s, whooaa... She’s so far prettier la!

I try to get Seolhyun’s hair do but I failed, LOL.

Anyway, since it’s my first time making makeup tutorial, please forgive all the imperfections. I know, this tutorial is not clear as yet, but surely it’s hard to take pictures step by step while working alone, especially for a beginner like me #slap...

REVIEW : SKIN79 VIP GOLD BB CREAM SPF30 PA++

For daily, I prefer use bb Cream than foundation because I get makeup coverage and skincare benefits from BB cream la. And now I’m gonna make a review of Skin79 VIP Gold BB Cream SPF30 PA++

Well, this is not the full size actually. This one is a sample that I got when bought some makeups from an online shop. Honestly,it’s interesting when I get some sample products to be tried. So I will know whether the product works well or not on my skin before buying the full size, just because my skin is so damn sensitive.

Skin79 has some variants of BB cream products. One which is very popular is the Hot Pink BB Cream. But, actually all of their BB creams are so tempting, huh? Especially their cute and unique bottle packaging la. But since this is a sample, I can’t comment much far about the cute bottle package. T.T

The consistency of this BB cream’s kinda watery. And yeah, I can blend it like soo eassyyyy...

On the other hand, I’m a bit annoyed with the scent. I’m not sure, it’s floral but too strong fragrant. Make me dizzy, LOL. Fortunately, the smell will disappear once you blend the cream.

I get the brightness effect but the coverage is sheer to medium I think. And the oil control is just so so. Can’t blame it la because this BB cream is exactly for dry skin. No wonder that it has hight moistness but less oil control. It has dewy finish look but not too glowy.

I’ll give it only 3 stars because my pretty oily skin kinda hard to accept the formula of this BB cream. But still, I love how light this cream is. So perfect for daily use.

What I like :

-          Light formula

-          SPF 30 PA++

-          Brightening

What I dislike :

-          Strange smell

-          Less oil control

-          Not too good coverage

Purchase the full size? No, thanks.

Well, to be frankly I’m still so interested with their Green BB Cream. It looks so fresh and totally cute. Maybe one of you are using it right now? I’m so glad if you can share your experience with me ^^

REVIEW : ETUDE HOUSE TEAR DROP LINER (#1 WHITE TEAR)

I like big eyes. I think that’s cute and so dolly. As an Asian, my eyes aren’t that big (T.T so sad)

But really thanks to the makeup revolution for finding a gorgeous thing called tear eyeliner or under eyeliner, tehee..

This is a thing that will help you to get bigger,fresh, cute or bling bling eyes if it has glitter formula. Many Korean Idols wear it too to get their fresh and cute look.

I found that a lot of Korean Makeup Brands have their own tear eyeliner products. It could be liquid, pencil or powder type. No matter how, it certainly my favorite stuff to get a bigger eyes.

I have some of under eyeliner products, but today I’m gonna share my review for Etude House Tear Drop Liner No.1 in White Tear (because these last days, I really like bling bling eyes look ;*)

Let’s move on, girls...

Honestly, Etude House is a first Korean Makeup Brand that I’ve known. I always fall in love with their products in the first sight just because of their package and concept. I think I’m an easy girl, LOL

Like other Etude products, this Tear Drop Liner comes in a cutie bottle package. The bottle is made from plastic with long cap and clear body which makes us know the contents of the product left easily. The long cap is also useful because it helps us apply the tear drop liner easily.

Next about the brush. I have know idea about that. I think it’s not like any other eyeliner brushes. This one is like rubber. For me, it’s too chewy. LOL

But since the tip of the brush is sharp, we can still apply the product neatly and easily. So don’t worry la..

One of my excuses bought this tear eyeliner is the glittery contents. I think it will be perfect to be used for night or party makeup. Well ya, as my expectation this product is sparkling. It’s transparent white and full of bling bling glitters. I think it will be too much when used for day makeup, especially if you are into a natural makeup lover.

Since it’s a liquid product, the consistency of itself is watery of course. Maybe it makes the product pretty hard to be dried. I need about 5 minutes to make it dry perfectly. But I really like its cool sensation once I apply it on my skin.

Btw, I have a problem everytime I apply it on my under eyes. It’s because the under eyelashes of mine. Everytime I draw a line, the product will get stuck on my under lashes and leave some white dots there, blahh... so must be careful when applying it. LOL

I thought that the glitter of this product will be too much for daily use, but maybe I was wrong. Because when it’s applied, the glitter is not like when you watch Kpop Idols in their show. A thing you should do is controlling how much you sweep the product on your eyes. Don’t use it too bold then the bling bling effect won’t appear too much. A sheer applying will make your eyes look cute and fresh. The bold one will make you look like an adorable Idol. Hahaa..

I was wondering about the staying power. Since I need extra time to wait until the tear drop liner dries up perfectly, I have a high expectation that it will be long last. Unlucky me, it won’t. Mehh...T.T  It just stays for about 3-4 hours when I was using it.

I know I shouldn’t have a high expectation about waterproof nor smudgeproof power from this under eyeliner because the product itself doesn’t claim that on the package. And because I have oily skin, I believe it makes the product doesn’t stay much longer. But still, I gave it a rub test. And here’s the result...

After rubbed, the white liner fades away easily meanwhile the glitters get spread and leaves sparkling traces widely. Now, bling bling is everywhere. But I don’t worry too much since I won’t rub it when using it on my eyes. But still the residue of it on my eyes is a little bit annoying. Some of the residue is  somewhat clumpy instead.

Back then to its price which is pretty cheap, I think it could be a recommended product for daily use and for the beginners who wanna try under liner makeup.

I give it 3.5 stars of 5. Out of the less in staying power, I really love the transparent white color with its bling bling glitters. Very pretty. I use it everytime I want a cute and fresh look like Ulzzang.

Here are some FOTD using Etude House Tear Drop Liner No.1 in White Tear. The color of the product may be not shown well because of the lighting. But in real, I’m sure it looks so fresh.

What I Like :

- Affordable

- Makes my eyes look fresh and cute instantly

- Bling bling effects

- Cute packaging

What I Dislike :

- Less staying power

- Clumpy residue

- Too much glitters if used too bold (case : in day makeup)
