[ REVIEW ] PYUNKANG YUL BLACK TEA TIME REVERSE EYE CREAM

Monday, October 27, 2025

Yahalloo!!!

Wait, what's that under my eyes? Wrinkles? NO!

I never used to bother with any eye cream products because, luckily, I didn't have any problems with my under eye area. But... recently I noticed that there are fine wrinkles under my eyes. What's worse, since I use gadgets so often, these areas look even more dull. This means it's the right time to call for help! And that's how I decided to try Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream.

There is no special reason why it should be this brand. Actually, it's just random, haha.

Under-eye skin problems can be triggered by lifestyle and age. You may feel that your under-eye skin is not problematic. However, fine lines and dark circles can appear at any time. At this point, I understand that we really shouldn't skip eye cream in our skincare regime.

This is the first try, but who knows, it might just work? So, let's dive into the full review of Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream!

Product:

Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream

Brand:

PYUNKANG YUL

Type:

Eye Cream

Weight:

9 ml

PACKAGING

Eye creams generally come in small sizes, namely because they are only for the under-eye area. But, this 9 ml... I don't know whether this is travel size or what it is. Anyway, the tube is pretty!

The tube is all black with white lettering. The cap is slim and quite long. And, the painting on the front of the product is very aesthetic, right? The whole thing looks elegant and premium. Actually, it is inversely proportional to the affordable price. So, I won't complain if there's no outer box.

The applicator of this product is elongated with a small hole tip. This is a clever design, as it makes it easy for us to control how much cream we will dispense. Overall, I like the packaging. It's travel friendly. Even though it's made of plastic, the aesthetic design is really great!

SCENT

Almost nothing is noticed by the smell. Just like skin care cream without fragrance. Completely safe for sensitive nose. Furthermore, I think this is an important point for an eye cream product. The addition of fragrance usually increases the risk of irritation and soreness on sensitive skin. Because it is applied under the eyes, which are sensitive, it is better to choose a fragrance-free eye cream. Good job, Pyunkang Yul!

COLOR

Milky white, just like skincare cream in general.

Initially, I thought it would be better if it was transparent like most gels. But this one isn't a problem either. Once spread out and absorbed completely, this eye cream becomes transparent and blends with my skin tone. It doesn't leave any white cast and residue. My conclusion, it is very safe to wear under any makeup.

TEXTURE

It's creamy. A typical facial cream. Luckily, I didn't have to apply it all over my face. Because, I also found it to be a bit thick. It's milky white, but it quickly becomes transparent once it starts to absorb. And I think I already mentioned this above, haha.

Honestly, there's not much to say about the texture. It's not bad, but it's nothing special either. I don't mind the thickness because it doesn't clump at all. It also feels really smooth on my skin.

RESULT

Okay, let's start with how this eye cream works right after it's absorbed.

It will take a few minutes for the product to fully absorb. If you're not very patient, you can gently pat it in with your fingertips to aid absorption. However, what I like about this product is that it doesn't leave a greasy feeling and doesn't make my skin oily, despite its slightly thick consistency.

It's quite hydrating and has a satin finish. I mostly apply this eye cream at night, but occasionally use it in the morning as well (guys, I'm that lazy about using eye cream, hehe). When I apply it in the morning, it doesn't interfere with my makeup. It doesn't leave any residue or flakes. Instead, it helps my skin feel supple and more ready for makeup.

I've been using Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream for about three weeks and haven't noticed any significant changes in my under-eye area. It helps conceal the appearance of fine lines with its moisturizing effect. Unfortunately, it only does so much to minimize their appearance, not reduce them permanently.

As for my eye bags, I didn't notice any major changes. They were the same. When I'm tired, this cream doesn't do much to freshen up my face. It just hydrates and makes my under-eye area look supple.

Frankly, I'm not too disappointed with the mediocre results. At least this product is very affordable. I'd say it's worth the price.

I know all too well that any eye cream takes time to show significant results. It can't be instant. But will I buy it again? I don't think so, thanks. I'll look for another eye cream that's more effective. Any recommendations?
