HOW TO FIX DEHYDRATED SKIN WITH 3 SIMPLE WAYS

Dehydrated skin is such a terrible thing for us. Sadly, this skin problem is able to say “hi!” to any skin type, not only for people with dry skin type but also the oily one, like me. Having lack of water in our skin will make it looks very dull and ugly when we put makeup on. Even worst, dehydrated skin could create dry patches and wrinkles. Ouch, we don’t want that!

I’m struggling from dehydrated skin for years and have been trying out tons of skincare products. Some of them work but the other ones didn’t. Funny (but luckily) I realized that dehydrated skin could be fixed with some very easy ways. Well, the combo of good skincare and good life style work well to keep skin hydrated.

Anyway, let me share three simple ways to help you fix dehydrated skin below.

 

 

1. Eat Healthy Food


 

Good food consists of good nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals and water. Nutrients help to hydrate our skin and make it more elastic, healthy, bright and glowing. Thus, let’s start to say goodbye to junk food and get the healthy one, guys! Haha.

While eating good and healthy food, do not forget to recognize if you or your skin have allergy with some of them. Make sure that you eat fruits and vegetables in an enough amount. Any food that provides vitamin E is good too for our skin, such as grain, oat, broccoli, spinach, avocado, mango, tomato, and so on.

 

 

2. Get Enough Rest


 

Doing a lot of activities along the day spend our energy, hence we get tired. Of course, our body needs to take an enough rest and relax. It sounds trivial but, guys, do not ignore this. Lack of rest will trigger stress and it has bad effect to our skin as well. We know, it’s not only our body but our skin is able to get and look tired too, right?

So, get enough rest daily and give your body and skin relaxation. Also, make sure you get enough sleep every night. The ideal is 6-8 hours a day.

 

 

3. Do Exercise Regularly and Drink More Water


 

Doing exercise help to improve blood flow, thus it will improve oxygen and nutrient circulation to the skin as well. Even if you are a lazy person like me, try to do exercise daily like jogging, cycling or aerobic. Meanwhile, drink more water is important too. If you want to hydrate your skin, the easiest way is drink more water, at least 2.25 litters or simply, 8 glasses per day. It will help to maintain the water content in your skin. Simply, balance your busy activity with drink enough water to keep hydrating your body and skin. Especially summer is coming now, we will get thirsty easily.
